While the temporary extension of deportation protections for Ukrainians is an important step, I’ve joined colleagues in urging the redesignation TPS for Ukraine. We must extend eligibility to allow those fleeing Putin’s war of aggression to rebuild their lives.
I’m leading a letter with over 50 of my colleagues demanding that DHS protect the due process rights of Ukrainian TPS holders. The Administration must re-designate Ukraine for TPS to extend this eligibility and allow Ukrainians who have fled war to receive protections here in the United States.
